But in real its live as ive seen it work outside my home network, it cant be a PC setting issue as none of my PC's can access it.

Site cannot be accessed

i kno it works on all pcs outside my network except my home netowrk, other sites are working fine its just this site.

Site cannot be accessed

Can you describe your setup?

at first it sounded like to could be a DNS problem, but since you PC's can determine the address. I'm thinking it could something else.

Site cannot be accessed

its a standard setup, i have 2 PC's both on Win XP both connected top a router its a Binatone ADSL 2100 router.

What other info do i need to give ill be happy to provide

Have you tried getting to this site, without a software firewall?

Are you running any IP blocking software? e.g. Peerguardian or Protowall etc.

Site cannot be accessed

Nah dont use no ip blocking software, i use zone alarm, i tried disbaling it then tried accessing the site, but still same issue.

Site cannot be accessed

Have you checked the logs of your router, and any firewall rules within the router that maybe blocking this site.

Have you tried just typing the IP address into a browser?

I've just tried pinging the site, and a trace and I get the same results as you. However I can actually get to the site.

Have you tried using firefox?

Site cannot be accessed

The log in router seems ok, ive resetted the router too as a result but it still gives page cannot be displayed error

I have tried using typing the IP address in the address bar and it dont work.

I have used internet exploroer, firefox and netscape and in neither of them i can get in to the site.

Site cannot be accessed

How long has it been like this? from day one? or more recently?

Site cannot be accessed

Nah not day one, the site was ok, but then at one point annonmously it stopped, never installed no programs or softwares, it just stopped, it started working for one day then it stopped again. That i found strange.

It basically stopped 2 weeks ago. Before that the site was runing ok.

Site cannot be accessed

Do you know what DNS servers your machines are using? Have you checked your hosts file for the IP address.

To be honest, I'm struggling to find a reason as to why it won't work. On the face of it, you should have no problem in getting to it. However something is a miss, on your setup. :-(

Site cannot be accessed

I Checked my DNS its .49 and .50

How can i find the Host file, i thoight that file is in windows server o/s not the client editions.

Site cannot be accessed

All machines have a hosts file, the location of which, depends on what OS you are using. However the more I think about it, the more unlikely that it would be caused by this.

So the message you get, I'm assuming that it's the standard IE message, and you getting it on both computers.

Have you tried any other PC's on your line? or tried using dial-up. Have you added any firewall rules to your router?
