SMTP and the Finger Command

I've set up my dns records for the domain and I think all is correct here.

The problem is if the server goes down and then comes back up, it needs to send the finger command to restart the mail delivery. Where does the finger command mail@autoturn.plus.net go in exchange server 2003?

Please help

Dave

SMTP and the Finger Command

the finger command works from a DOS prompt

i.e start > run cmd

then type finger postmaster@autoturn.plus.net

that will collect any outsnading emails.

Put that command into a bat file and schdule it to run everyhour

Hope that helps
