Receiving emails on Blackberry PDA/Mobile

Recently bought a Blackberry 6720, it works great. but I would like to use it for receiving and sending emails if I can. Trouble is all instructions seem to be written for and by computer experts. I contacted Plus for handheld software as per the notes with the the Blackberry but got this reply:

"We do not activly support the setting up of mobile phone e-mails, however the basic settings you would need are,

Incoming mail server : mail.plus.net

Outgoing mail server : check with network provider

Email address : postmaster@yourname.plus.com

Username : same as you logged onto the site with.

Password : same as you logged onto the site with.

Anybody any ideas or able to help?

Sorry not been in touch before, just rec'd notification that there had been a response.

My provider is Telecomplus who piggy back onto T Mobile. I have been in touch with them and they say they do not supply support for Blackberry.

Any suggestions you can make would be appreciated

Orange support emails, and internet.
I have an XDA2s and everything works a treat with Orange.

Also it is not possible to use your standard account for sending emails on plusnet. You can though get a free account and purchase and addon type bundle for £1.99 a month which will allow you to send emails also from any connection.

I will try and source the page for you relating to this addon bundle.

Many regards,

You should be able to use T-Mobile's SMTP server for outgoing emails - this is ukmail1.t-email.co.uk.
