Will F9 be supporting QoS for VOIP traffic on it's routers? Is there any point running QoS on your home router if the bottle neck is between ones own router and the exchange router?
At the moment I'm having to use the rubbish implementation of QoS on my router which seems to be "Oh I see activity on port 500X - I'll stop all other traffic everywhere else". Which isn't very good.
The other thing I heard is you can adjust the packet size that your network uses so that all packets are better interleaved? Is that right? I'm not too bothered if my bandwith suffers by 30% or so due to fragmentation.
Anyone got any good tips? By the way I use a Linksys WAG54G with a Grandstream BT-101.
