I'm amazed there has not been more feedback/discussion since the introduction of PlusTalk.

Has anyone tried a VOIP network phone for instance and got it working on the service?

Is there any more news on being able to call people not on PlusTalk?

All very quiet for a new service I must say.

Hi,

We've got a SIP handset working here in the office on PlusTalk. Works great.

We are currently in the process of setting up peering with other SIP providers as well as bringing PSTN break in/out. We'll let you know when these phases are complete.

Snom

Hi
I have a Snom 190 sip phone proper, but i use voipfone as my provider, and plusnet as my ISP and it works as a great cheap alternative to normal phone, I have a local Geographic number and 500 mins a month free to almost any landline in civilised world.
Voip is great
cheers
