Could PN let us know which VOIP providers they are looking to peer with?

The two I use regularly are SIP Gate and VOIP User (a community based VOIP provider) [http://www.voipuser.org].

Hi,

At the moment I don't have a list of who the peers will be, I'll I can say is as soon as they are confirmed we'll update the FAQ.

Peering - Telio.no ?

Hi,

I currently make quite a few calls to people on the Telio.no network in Norway.

Can you peer up with them?

Thanks.

FWD and sipphone.com would also be good for peering and any of the peering partners on sipphone.com

The full list has been updated at

We expect to add some more peers later in the month, with PSTN break in/out to allow calls to landlines and mobiles available in the autumn.

plustalk peers

will this integrate with skype?

Once PSTN breakout becomes a feature, yes.
This would be chargeable and require the person on skype has purchased a PSTN number for incoming calls.

In the time being, it would require that Skype develop a function for calling and peering with SIP networks.

Right now this isn't available, thus not possible.

Is it everr going to be possible to peer with Skype or are they a world of their own?

Skype don't support SIP, so they are pretty much in a world of their own.
