Passwords with .htaccess - incorrect page

I have a passworded folder just as a test at the moment, the protected folder is here www.bond-net.co.uk/test, if the user gets the password wrong 3 times I would like to have my own custom made message.

I assume that to do this I need to add a line to the .htaccess file within the protected folder but how do I do this?

I have used the instructions here so far

Follow the tipcs given on THIS post.

However, rather than using "500" for the error number, you should use "401" & "403".

Passwords with .htaccess - incorrect page

Sorry, just to check, the folder test is password protected the .htaccess fils looks like this:

AuthUserFile /share/isp/plusnet/www/uu/usermane/htdocs/test/.htpasswd
AuthName "Please Enter Username & Password to Enter"
AuthType Basic
require valid-user
ErrorDocument 401 /errors/401.htm
ErrorDocument 403 /errors/403.htm

Bold bits changed to my details.

So do I add the error line where I have shown
