Non-resident fonts in website - Help Please

Does anyone have a method of ensuring non-client-resident fonts on a web page are displayed correctly?

I need to display a heading in Curlz MT (don't ask!). I have used the Microsoft tool to embed the font subset, but that only works with IE clients. I am sure there must be a way to trigger an automatic download of the font on first access, but it eludes me. I am using FrontPage to develop, and hosting on PN FP server.

Only way I can think of is to create the heading with a paint program such as Paint Shop Pro and then save it as an image.
This will then be downloaded by any browser and displayed correctly.

Thanks, John. I got hung up on fonts and never thought of an image. I'll give it a try.
