Is it possible to run 2 X-Lite clients on PlusTalk?

Hi there.

I have two computers behind a router. I have installed X-Lite on them both with the intention of using ANY computer to receive or make a PlusTalk call (same SIP). Is this possible or supported? I seem to be getting some conflicts here..
Maybe its just the settings?

Anyone tried this?

I'm not sure if you can do that or not, but you can run Asterisk on your computer and have that handle your phones.

I don't think you can have two computers logged onto the same VoIP account. To do this you have to use a virtual PABX and then each computer if effectively an extension to your VoIP account. I'm sure PlusNet do not offer this.

Try voipfone.co.uk.

http://www.asterisk.org/

Also a search on these forum will show the configuration that another user has used to run an asterisk with PlusTalk

Good luck.
