Ipaq & GPRS & outgoing mail

Hi,

I currently use my ipaq for receiving mail via Vodafone GPRS. Any one know what SMTP settings I need so that I can send emails from my plus.net accounts?

Thanks,

Steve

You can find details of the appropriate SMTP server to use for the various mobile operators at http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html.

Hi Steve,

There is a way to do it. You would have to invest £1.99 a month in order to do it, but it is possible.

Visit HERE and sign up. You will have a brand new account created for you whilst signing up but you can opt to have a free payg account as you wont get charged for that.

Hope this helps Smiley

Hi All,

Thanks for all your help. I have created a text file with 3 SMTP gateways.

send.vodafone.net
SMTP.btopenzone.com
relay.plus.net

Depending on how I connect I copy and paste my gateway. A bit long winded but in reality I normally leave it on Vodafone.

Thanks again,

Steve
