Interesting Email From Plusnet(?)

The reason i put a question mark in the subject line will become apparent as you read this:

Today i recieved an email from a "Mike Grice" at plus.net.uk (note the "uk" reference) informing me that i have been infected by the mblaster virus.

As i am not, or never have, run on anything but windows 98, it seems a bit strange to be told this !!!!!!!
Just to make sure, i downloaded the patch and ran it, and sure enough my system was clean.
So, can i ask somebody at plusnet if there IS a Mike Grice at Plusnet, or is this just an elaborate hoax by some "script kiddie"?

Yes, there is a Mike Grice at +Net, and yes, they use plus.net.uk for there addresses and a last yes, he is likely one of the team that would contact you regarding this.

If you feel this is done in errror (as it sound like), you should use the contact us system noting the fact you receive the mail, and that you have been contacted in error.

Alternativly, contact Mike Grice himself via the forums HERE
