Hosting Companies

Looking over new hosting packages as my current website outgrows plusnet. I need around 1GB of webspace and 10GB of bandwidth per month. Need two domains hosting on the package also.
I've so far found http://www.macoman.co.uk/ and http://www.oneandone.co.uk/ that look quite good. These any good?
What are the rest of your good folks using? Any recommendations?

Are Streamline reliable? Are you using them? Unlimited storage and bandwidth on the moderately priced products seems to good to be true

Yes i have been using them for 4 months now and they are very good. I havent had any problem so far.

(my site: www.bootlegsandbsides.co.uk)

Give it a go, you get a 3 month free trial so there's no harm in it.

I just looked at them, firejack. You said you needed two domains on the site. All their packages support only one with the exception of the bulk user package. This package is quoted as being £79.99 per year and £99.99 per year :?

Whilst we are on the subject of recomendations for hosting companies.

Due to some projects I am working on, I am looking for a company that does reseller accounts.

I'm not bothered if they are referal (though myst be continious payment based), or reseller controlled.

I do ask that setup costs are low, and where possible, are billed per extra account or extra resources aquired, rather than the traditional single price for X limit.

I use http://www.arteryplanet.net/ - strange name but fantastic support and loads of really useful auto install scripts, security certificates etc. It's very hard to fault them. They are also quite flexible about stuff like bandwidth. Much better than Host Europe or any large company.

Try www.as-hosting.com

If you require extra things you can trade others in or pay extra for them.

I seem to remeber one or two members having problems with access sites hosted by that company and they were not very forthcoming with support - in a word they said it was the customers fault when it clearly was not. So there could be a few warning bells with that one.

Seems to be sorted now.

Cheapest reseller is £25.99 a month and first month is half price
