Not having seen (at that point) the many recommendations to the contrary, I recently signed up for the PN VOIP service. I am using a Handytone 386 and it took quite a bit of experimentation to get this and my Router firewall working properly (well, for outbound calls anyway - maybe to be covered in a separate message).
The 386 has PSTN pass-through which allows the phone to be used to make PSTN calls (by using a prefix) instead of VOIP calls. This works fine for me. It should also allow incoming PSTN calls to be answered on the phone as well, but this isn't working. Dialling in to my BT number results in the phone in the Kitchen ringing but not the main phone (i.e. the one connected to the ATA). There are no obvious settings in the web configuration interface that might need tweaking to get this to work so I am stumped. Any suggestions?
