Firewall Strangeness?

My Netgear DG834G firewall is reporting it is blocking a site that I have not attempted to connect to or for that matter seems not to exist (the address is registered but there is no visible web site).

Packet - Source:192.168.0.2,1086 Destination:blighty.com,80 - [BLOCK]

My PC is virus and spyware free, I do have blocking of sites by keyword switched on in the firewall but none of the keywords match any part of “blighty.com”

Anyone have any ideas what might cause this?

Firewall Strangeness?

As far as I knew Blighty use to be a place for anti-spam software and general FAQ etc. If you have run a port test, or something similar on the web for testing security, it may of checked your router to see if it blocks blighty.com.

I wouldnt be worried about it, I think its just some sort of test that either the router does or you have done or a website you have used has done.

For example:
http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,4709,00.asp
http://www.samspade.org/

I beleive Blighty.com created this software.

Are you using Sam Spade on your PC per chance?

hmmm That might well solve the mystery!

I dont have samspade installed but I havbe been using their web site to look up info on other addresses that the firewall blocked!

I guess that is it?
