Finding and removing files on the FTP Server

Does anyone know how to allow FTP Voyager to view .htaccess files. I have read the help file and searched the net to no avail.

I have unticked the tick box in the site profiles that hides these files but I can still not view them.

I know they are there because I cant delete any folders that appear to be empty. Also on my local machine the file .htaccess is shown in the folders I uploaded.

I am even willing to change to another package as long as this option works.

Any help would be appreciated.

To view hidden files on *nix that use a fullstop as the first character, you need to use the -a (negative a) switch. I do not know where this is in FTP Voyager, it may be called "filter"
You can of course telnet in, you will still not see the files but you will be able delete from there.
