For some weeks now my email service has been iffy to say the least. Often it takes forever to connect to the email server usually with the email service timing out. On some occasions it will connect immediately but this is becoming a rare event. My broadband service has been ostensibly at 8Mbs for some months but over this time the speed has progressively declined to between 4.5-5.6Mbs. Is there any relationship between the declining speed of the broadband line and the frequent inability to connect to the email server?
