<!-- 222222222 SEE NOTE ABOVE --><FRAME SRC="dummy.htm" NAME="DUMMY" scrolling=no>

<!-- 333333333 CHANGE THIS LINE AS ABOVE --><FRAME SRC="http://fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest" NAME="Home" scrolling=no>

The index file is in my [space]/ICCTest directory. Home is the name of the starting page for the web.

The domain (ickenhamcc) was purchased through another site but is now hosted at PlusNet.

I have had a non Frontpage web page being displayed without problem, I just cannot get my Frontpage site to dsplay (redirect)

Well, I get adirectory listing on the root of your FP pages and nothing in the /ICCtest directory.
Firstly, you must have a blank index.html file in the root to stop people listing your directory structure.
Secondly, it isn't working because you don't seem to have anything on the FP server to view ??

Note, the same comment as above concerning a index.html also applies for normal www site. You currently only get a listing when trying www. doublesix. plus.........

Frontpage Publishing

If I am understanding your comments you are saying that no files are present in my http://fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest directory. How can this be?

From within Frontpage I have published my site to the remote site as referenced above. When I change files on my local web and then publish Frontpage updates only the files that have changed, so if the files have not been upload, then where are they?

When i visit http://fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest, I get a blank page in my Mozilla browzer (and with IE) but looking at the source of the page I see the following:
<HTML>

<HEAD>

<TITLE>www.ickenhamcc.com</TITLE>

</HEAD>

<!-- Not sure how this works? follow the instructions below!

1. Above you can see the headings <TITLE> and <TITLE>. You simply need to the text between the
<title> and </title> entries above to be the title of your web site
(ie change: <title>Enter Your Domain Name Here</TITLE> to be: <TITLE>http://www.yourdomain.co.uk</TITLE>

2. Next you can see a string of number 2's (ie 222222222), leave this line as it is! It is an empty file!

3. Further down below you should see a string of number 3's (ie 3333333333), the line below this you
just need to replace "dummy.htm" with your FrontPage web address (ie replace "demo.htm"
with "http://fp.yourusername.plus.com" )

4. Now just save the file as index.htm and upload it to ftp.plus.net, if you need help with this
see the quick tutorial here: http://www.moonphase.plus.com/cute.htm once this has been done

5. Once this has been done you should have no more problems so sit back and relax! ;-)

Looks as if the moonphase redirect is on the FP server and not the www server. Hence the blank page. (which I also now get and not the listing as before).

Thanks for listing the Moohphase file... is it correct? If it is it is not working!

Please take the time to write an answer which give sme a clue what I need to do. I cannot beleive it is this difficult. I know you must have to answer lots of questions but please take some time to explain what I need to do to get this forwarding to work.

I have no idea what the difference is between a www and a frontpage server, although i know they are different locations. I can get webs to work fine on my www server. I can get a webb to work under

http://fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest/

If fact my current one does. But I cannot get the moonphas ebusiness to work. You have a listing what's wrong?

If I click on your fp link now I get a page for Ickenham Cricket Club, so you must have changed something or removed the moonphase file.

If you want someone visiting www.yourname.plus.com (or the domain you have hosted on plusnet) to be redirected to your fp webspace the moonphase page must be put in the htdocs directory of your www webspace and must be called index.html. This should then replace the word generated index file you currently have in your www webspace.

To access your www webspace just ftp to www.yourname.plus.com and login with your normal username & password then go into the htdocs directory. Then ftp the index.html file to there..

I want someone visiting www.ickenhamcc.com to be transfered to http://fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest/

I have the moonphase file in the http://www.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest/

No-one will be looking at the above reference for the site, just via www.ickenhammcc.com.

Please excuse any perceived frustration because I am being told this is a simple process but despite being reasonably intelligent (obvious evidence to the contrary) I cannot achieve this. Frankly while my posts are being answered my questions are not.

My current set up which I require advice as to why it is not working and what I need to do to correct it, is as follows:

In my /htdocs/ICCTest directoty I have a 'Moonphase' index file. It is configured forward to www.fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest. I assume this is working because I get

"Not Found
The requested URL /www.fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest was not found on this server."

I know there are two different servers one the FRont Page and one the 'normal' one.

How do I test if my files have actually been loaded to my FP site? I use an FTP Explorer to upload to the normal site, but FrontPage to upload to the FP one.

In Frontpage it tells me my remote site is http://fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCTest and that all the files are there?

Any ideas?

If you have www.fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCtest in the redirect file, this is the problem, as the correct URL is http://fp.doublesix.plus.com/ICCtest
