I am considering a move to braodband, but wish to choose the right data throughput package, based on my current dial up usage. I asked the team in support some time ago if there was a program that would monitor that information, in the same way as their recommended No Frills TImer will do for dial up connection time. No way, they said.
So having found one, I thought I'd share it. It is NetMeter, and is found on http://readerror/gmxhome.de/ It seems to work OK, and has raised no alarms so far with F-Prot, AVG, Ad-AwareSE1.5, or SpybotS&D1.3, so it is probably clean.
