Cannot access http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk/...

From my home PlusNet account, I get the message "http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk/ could not be found, please check the name and try again".
But I know this site exists, I can access it from work!
Its a great site that I'd like to be able to use from home
Any ideas anyone? :?

Cannot access http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk/...

None of the PlusNet DNS servers can resolve it and the same occurs with a number of other ISP DNS servers I have tried, so it's not a PlusNet problem. Looks like the DNS for the domain has got screwed somehow.

Cannot access http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk/...

Resolves fine for me.

And I am using PN DNS 212.159.13.49 and 212.159.13.50

Try this link using a web proxy to see if it is related to your IP range:- Click me
(EDIT Note: the page may not display all features using this proxy, however it should serve the purpose of assertaining if you can access the site via said proxy)

Thanks seventhstar.
That worked for me, so what does that mean?
Do I have to reset something, do I report it as a fault to PlusNet?

They appear to have banned by IP or indeed IP range for some reason.

Dunno what the craic is tbh. I did a tracert and whois lookup on them for you........ and now I can't connect to the site unless I use a proxy! :?

Maybe someone with a little more experiance here could help you.

Tried the site a few days ago and couldn't get there. I'd just assumed it was a problem with the site.

Saying that, I can get to it now though.
