Can't post in another thread (and .co.uk e-mail issue)

Hi, PN newbie here and first-time domain name owner, too.

I've been trying to add this to planetjbk's "Domain Name Question" thread, but I keep getting an "Invalid Session" error when I try to post. What's that all about, then?

Anyway...

I am having the same problem with mail sent to mymailbox@mydomain.co.uk...

Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 REJECTED: Relay not permitted

...however my domain was only regisered less than 24 hours ago. Should I be a bit more patient before logging a ticket with PN?

Regards,

Domains can take upto 48 hours to be rcongnised throughout the internet so I suspect a lookup for the domain is still failing.

Wait a couple more days before reporting a problem.

As for the session error, do you have cookies enabled in your browser?

Also does the URL to the thread contain a lot of randon letters and numbers at the end?

URL looks like this:

http://portal.plus.net/central/forums/posting.php?mode=reply&t=28384

...but I do occaisionally see long strings of characters at the end. Not always though.

No idea what is going on. Its taken me nore attempts to post this than I can remember counting.

Time to disable any software firewalls and background virus scanners to see if that has any affect. Also disable any pop-up stoppers.

Seems totally random to me, but with a 90% or so failure rate.

I'm on my work PC, which could be causing a problem as I have the corporate firewall to go through (no pop up blockers). This would be the first forum that it has ever stopped me from using reliably, though.

I'll try again on my PC at home tonight.
