Advice

The folks currently use 18866.com for their phone calls, from a regular bt landline.

This costs 4pence per call, regardless of call duration (was 1pence a year ago) and i was wanting to get them set up with plustalk.

It would be best if they could carry on using their regular cordless handsets. Is this possible? If so can someone point me in the direction of what i need to buy please?

Thanks

call18866 actually only charge a 3p connection fee for UK national calls of unlimited duration. Why would you want them to switch to PlusTalk, as apart from SIP to SIP calls, this will be more expensive for them? A better alternative would be SIPDiscount.

18866

18866 have been charging 4p per call for a while.
1899, part of the same group are currently still on 3p per call.

Unless they have updated the firmware (which it does not look like they have) don't touch the Zyxel 2002L with a barge poll. PlusNet said they had withdrawn the sale of these adapters due to the bugs in the firmware.

My mistake, it still says 3p in one place on their home page.
