Accessing e-mail from a different address...

What will happen if i tried to access imap.plus.net and relay.... from someone elses IP?

Would it depend on their ISP? Purely theory you understand....

Accessing e-mail from a different address...

You can receive mail via imap (imap.plus.net) and pop3 (mail.plus.net) from any IP and any ISP. You can only send via SMTP (relay.plus.net) from a plusnet IP. To send from a non plusnet IP, you must use the SMTP server of the ISP you are connected to.

Well,

I have just asked today about the same sort of thing. There is a way to do it, but not with your current mail box. You would have to create a second account and then subscribe to like an addon.

So a free account and then one of these addons for it. £1.99 a month.
