360 degree photo

More by luck than good judgement, I have managed, (I think), to place a 360 degree photo on my web site.
Anyone care to waste a bit bandwidth and let me know if it actually works?
The photo is about 270KB in size and can be found at:

http://www.monkchester.co.uk/360_panorama.htm

When I view it using IE6, it's a bit 'jerky' but in Firefox it scrolls fairly smoothly. How does it behave in other browsers?
Is 270KB too large?

The viewer is Janorama. (http://www.meiers.net/sven/janorama/usage.html)

The photo I have used is just for test purposes and I know it's a long way from being perfect. I'm just trying to get an idea as to whether to pursue the idea or give it up before I waste too much time on it.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks to you all for the encouraging comments.
I will have a go at creating a few more for the site.
