webmail. Basic or advanced.

Why are there 2 options with web mail, Basic or Advanced ?
What is the advantage of using basic when advanced seems to offer more ? Am I missing something here ?

Support for the Roundcube Beta Webmail trial is provided only through the Trial Forum so only registered forum users can access that. It was publicised in this Roundcube Launch blog as well as the forums which I think in total is appropriate to its status.

Re: webmail. Basic or advanced.

I was advised about the RoundCube trial shortly after joining Plusnet around six months ago owing to problems I had using SquirrelMail, However the problems then at RoundCube were even worse, so I switched back. However after the recent upgrade RoundCube works virtually perfectly. It was then put on general release - and although I don't think an email was issued, there was discussion on this forum.
