I am not very computer user friendly but when I switched to Plus net from BT I have been using my BT email on the BT site. BT now tell me I can no longer use BT email. I have tried several times to set up an email address on PlusNet with no success.
I have followed the guides but keep getting a Portal.net with a blank page.
I us I.E as my way to get email with BT as my homepage.
I need someone to talk me through it as I loose my BT email on Monday, they gave 2 days warning!
I would like to keep the same email address I had with BT if possible but if not I have a new one I want to use .
Please some one help a non computer person get email.

If you didn't request an email address when you signed up it is possible that the facility wasn't activated
If you go to here https://portal.plus.net/my.html?action=myemail&s=1&redirected=yes&?membermenu=emailsettings (login required and probably you need to allow cookies) and then click on Manage My Mail
Do you see something like this picture
If you do then click on Mailboxes - are there any set up

Does not work . It asks me to log into webmail , but any details I put in are refused. Login refused.

Can we go back a step

Then click on Manage My Mail under Email Settings

It goes to a blank page as before when I tried. It says Portal plus net.

In which case I can only assume that the email service hasn't been enabled
The only way this can be fixed before Monday is to phone in - at least the queue is dropping a bit but it will still be a long wait I am afraid
