setting up a mailbox on android

I'm trying to set my partners e-mail up on a jelly bean tablet.
I've tried following the guide else where on plus net pages but can't seen to get past the imap setup.
I've managed to do it using the primary e-mail address (mine) to see where I was going wrong but get stuck when trying to set it up with her mailbox.
Anyone got a simple walk through?

Set up for a separate mailbox should be identical to that for the primary mailbox except the username field will be username+hermailboxname including the + sign, but no spaces. The password will be that which was set for hermailboxname.
If this doesn't work try logging into her mailbox on webmail - the username and password are the same for that.
