report@phishing.gov.uk

Great The National Cyber Security Centre start a service for reporting phishing but plus nets mail filters block it at the outbound SMTP server so having received one you cannot forward it.

Re: report@phishing.gov.uk

Hi,

A warm welcome to the forums.

An interesting corundum!  The mail gets in, but cannot be sent out.  I'm guessing that the aggressiveness of the inbound scanning is totally predicated on the individual's spam filtering settings (see Spam settings under Manage My Mail in the user portal).  However, on the outbound servers, spam filtering will be set very high in an attempt to prevent Plusnet servers from distributing content which could 'blacken' the reputation of the Plusnet mail platform and thereby be detrimental to all users.

Did you forward the email as an attachment?  Note that would be essential to enable phishing.gov.uk to determine the source of the communication.
