I switched to btinternet about 4 years ago. I have continued to use my plus.net address and use btinternet as my outgoing server. This has always worked fine until a couple of days ago. When I try to send a message I get the following error message - can't connect to the account "outgoing server for btinternet"
I have not changed any settings or password. I have checked the outgoing settings and they look correct but I am unable to send any emails.
Is anyone able to suggest how I go about rectifying this problem.

Fixed! Go to the fix.
Thanks for your reply. I've spent ages on this to discover that the btinternet address had been disabled. I have now re-enabled it and should be able to put all the settings back.
