outgoing e-mail address

Hi,
I'm new to plusnet, and web based e-mails.  When we send e-mails our address appears to others as 'username@username.plus.com' rather than 'e-mail@username.plus.com'.  It means that the recipient cannot reply to our e-mails, which is really frustrating!
Does anyone know how we can sort this out?  The troubleshooting guide says to check our settings, but I can't see anything to change.

Along top of webmail you get:
Compose   Addresses   Folders   Options   Search   Help
Use Options, then Personal Information. Second box down, E-mail Address:. Remember Submit button bottom right.

If you prefer, you can still set up your email client to automatically collect messages using POP3....
