not receiving emails on Outlook 2013

I receive emails on my iphone and on webmail, but they have stopped arriving in Outlook 2013. Has anyone any idea as to what might solve the problem?

What error message do you get?

Thanks for your message.

I don't get an error message.

It's just that no emails are received on Outlook 2013.

Although I can access them on webmail and my iphone.

This problem began a few days ago when the PC updated

I tested the account settings.

And received the following message -

"All tests completed successfully"

I received the test message that was sent - on my iphone, but not on Outlook 2013.

This rather sounds like an oddity with Outlook.

Given that you are looking at your mailbox on several devices, I am presuming that they are all configured as IMAP?

Look at the server settings and put "inbox" into the root folder field.

Save the settings.

Right click the account name in the folder panel and select update folder list.

That might fix the problem.

Unfortunately that did not sort out the problem.

However, after I went to the Outlook program and 'change' and then 'repair', it allowed the emails to be received once again
