new user email problems

hi community
i've just joined plusnet and expected to find a streamlined system that is superior to everyone else.
my new email address can't be sent to MS Outlook Express? i've sent endless test emails and contacted plusnet
a few times about this. 
i want to be able to send and receive emails to and from outlook and not plusnet webmail.
i want to be able to file, neatly into folders in outlook to add too, my history in that file.
i want more control over my emails.
surely an email sent and received should come through MS Outlook, repeated, forwarded from webmail.
i find the email system on plusnet, very confusing.
any advice greatly received please.

If you chose a Plusnet email address during signup then you can set this up in Outlook, the guide to do that is here: http://www.plus.net/support/email/setup/outlook_2010_setup.shtml
Plusnet assist will also be able to check you've got the settings correct: http://www.plus.net/assist/
