free-online email and move to Greenby

hi, i have a free-online.co.uk email. I use the .idps.co.uk  address. I have plusnet broadband and have .plus.com email too.

Have received email from plusnet saying that i'll have to pay £15 a year 30 days after june changeover to Greenby for the free-online email.

Am a bit confused. Would i have to pay that even though i am a plusnet broadband customer.

And i havn't had an email about my .plus.com email account. Did they sent one to everyone or is just starting and will soon follow.

It is being done brand by brand. It will be a while before the Plusnet users are migrated. The best advice I can give to legacy brand users having a Plusnet broadband service is to phone support.

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Thanks , what is meant by 'legacy brand users having a Plusnet broadband service'

I think ill just pay the £15 for peice of mind for now. I had the free online email years ago.and have loads of connections with. Can't imagine going through them all. That must be it.

So my plusnet email  with .plus.com will be ok for two years. I think. But my old free-online wont be. Is that it. Thanks.

Essentially yes. A legacy mail service is one that is not connected to a current broadband service. But be asked if there are any flexibility arrangements where a user has more than one mail service.

For the migration, It will be an account per mail box.
