Also can you let me know if you're trying to login as default or perhaps into a specific mailbox?
I have checked your default mailbox from here and it does seem to be empty, do you have a mail client such as Outlook set up anywhere that could have downloaded those messages?

So far as I know the set up has not changed.
Windows live mail is the platform. If that is the right term.

Is there any way in which I can check where emails are being stored if not with plus net?

Have you ever logged on with Outlook or other mail client?

Depending on settings one of these could have stored all your e- mails and deleted them from the PN server

They won't be anywhere else as e-mail doesn't have anywhere to go astray. For example if a message can't be delivered it's usually bounced straight back to the sender.
Quote Windows live mail is the platform
That would imply that you're wanting to check e-mail to a windows live (hotmail) address that means the messages wouldn't be for a Plusnet address.
So it sounds to me like you may be checking in the wrong place for your messages possibly. I have sent a message to your default Plusnet address and I can see that was delivered just fine.

TBH I've never used it Peter, I'll find out what the ins and outs are of using that to collect mail.
@sixpence it sounds like using windows live mail to collect PN email has downloaded your messages hence they aren't viewable via webmail because you've downloaded them from the mail server.

I would check the settings on Windows live mail as the guide here http://www.plus.net/support/email/setup/windows_live_mail_settings.shtml

Thank you, received your email O.K.However, it does not appear in plus net email folder.
This blip has only occurred recently. I have been using windows live for the past year.
The computer is H.P. running windows 7, In my small experience it is not a happy union.
Previously used Windows XP (domestic version), no trouble.
Thank you for your attention
Peter,
Thank you for your input. I will attempt to understand the procedures etc..

Quote from: sixpence Thank you, received your email O.K.However, it does not appear in plus net email folder.
Adam checked and could see that it was in your Plusnet mailbox. You then received it in to Windows Live and now you can't see it in your Plusnet mailbox using webmail.
I'm 99.9999% certain that you have Windows Live incorrectly configured. Peter pointed you to the correct place. The Delivery section at the bottom of the last screen shot is the crucial part:

You MUST have Leave a copy of messages on server ticked.
Setting Remove from server after nnn days is optional.
Having a tick in the last box means that when you permanently delete an email in Windows Live it will also disappear from webmail.
