email problem

OK,

i have just set up my plusnet email into my microsoft outlook 10

i followed all the settings and at end outlook said all good and correct settings,

But when i try send an email from my gmail accout to my plusnet email (to test all is working) it fails to send,

And when i try to send an email from my plusnet email account to my gmail account via outlook 10 it just constantly sits trying to send and wont send or receive,

Do you need get an error message in the send/receive pop up box that appears when sending receiving?;
if so copy text here.
Is this the full (MS Office) version of Outlook or Outlook.com?
Not sure what "Outlook 10" is.

This is the message i get when i try send an email to my plusnet email,

All sorted now i forgot to put tick in authentication box derrrrr
