recently moved from talktalk to plusnet & noticed in the intro pack that it was possible to retain the old talktalk e/m address and followed (at least thought I had) instructions & now can receive but not transmit - therefore need adv on transmit server settings

Use smtp server: relay.plus.net
Other settings should be standard for computer email programs but these are:
Port 25
No SSL
Server does not require authentication
If you take your computer with you when travelling then there are alternative settings that might be needed when not connected to PlusNet as your ISP but let's keep it simple for now.
