It's no big deal for me but I am curious...
Why does Plusnet always send me TWO identical emails, with exactly the same time stamp, to let me know I'm getting near my usage limit?

one is always sent to postmaster, the other to your preferred address, the only difference is the envelope to

If you go to this link, then click on 'manage my mail' you can delete your postmaster redirect. This will stop the duplication.
