Does PlusNet support auto-forwarding of messages from a Plusnet inbox to a gmail account. I don't want to stop using/paying for my PlusNet address but I would like my messages forwarding just as they are to my iPad. I couldn't find a "Help" response to fit a simple "auto forward" search though I'm sure it must be there somewhere. Google only seem to offer a 30 day service for transferring customers and then an auto forward instruction.

Doesn't a redirect do what you want

Another option would be to configure your Gmail account to collect messages from the Plusnet mailbox using POP3:

You can't forward an existing email address, you might be able to by deleting and recreating your mailbox but not sure..
Bob's suggestion is the best way and what I use.
