I use WLM for all my e-mail accounts. Plusnet assist constantly pop ups to tell me it has detected a problem connecting to my e-mail service, do I want to fix or ignore. If I click fix it runs a check only to tell me there is no error but then pops up again a few minutes later, same if I click ignore, it is very annoying. Any ideas how to stop it?
Whilst Oldjim's suggestion may seem frivolous, uninstalling Plusnet Assist is a suitable solution. If you need assistance with the few problems it can help to solve consider posting in these forums instead.
I wouldn't describe it as absoleutly useless as I have needed it when I've lost my internet connection and other problems, am reluctant to delete it for that reason. I installed over a year ago but it is only in the past week that this problem has arisen. I was hoping there might be an explanation for this behaviour.
I don't know if this will help, but if you wish to retain Plusnet Assist I suggest trying an uninstall, then restart your PC. When all is stable again you could then reinstall Plusnet Assist and see if the problem with WLM has gone away.
