Windows Live Mail

When I open Live Mail I am receiving an error message concerning failure to update Calendar (which I do not use).

In trying to eliminate this irritation, I have stumbled on the announcement that Microsoft is to cease to support Live Mail and I am uncertain as to what I should do.  I do not want to pay for the email service.

What are others doing?  Any advice?

I am on Win 7 and Live Mail 2011.

I am using Live mail on win 10 without any problems (it also worked on 7 and 8 OK).

Do you sign in to Live mail?  When signed it it tries to update calendar etc at startup. I think people who use Microsoft email accounts where sent details of the changes. IF you use a MS email you may have use something else. Win 10 has a built in email app.

Many thanks djcjuk, I have selected Live Mail setting not to open other Live facilities and my problem with Calendar has been eliminated.
