I am new to Plusnet and Webmail, my question is;
After going into Windows Live Mail and downloading my emails, if I then sign into Webmail the emails I have downloaded aren't in Webmail, do emails once downloaded to windows live mail disappear from webmail?

The default setting for Windows Live Mail is to delete emails from the server once they have been downloaded.
You can change this in the Live Mail settings to leave copies on the server but remember that the web mail has limited capacity and once "full" cannot receive any more emails until cleared.

Thank you Robski1 it has worked, but now when I go to Windows live mail and click download, the new message in my Inbox at webmail doesn't get downloaded to windows live mail.

???Hi aliceanne,
That one has got me beat.
Make sure you have not changed any of the settings in the account & server sections.
Perhaps someone else on the forum has a solution.

On checking the email address in the Properties/Service account on windows live mail it was incorrect, have changed that and all is working properly, thank you very much for your help Robski1
