Webmail shows only my POP3 Inbox but no other folders

Having been threatened with Archiving because my e mail storage is too high, I was advised to delete as much as possible using Webmail. I found that Webmail shows only my Inbox fokder and 1 solitary Sent message which I once used as a Test.

I successfully removed a lot of old messages using my old POP3 version, but I would like to be able to switch to webmail for all my e mail requirements, but not if it can not show all my folders.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Webmail shows only my POP3 Inbox but no other folders

Click the cog wheel at the bottom left of the screen and select manage folders.

Check the box beside the other folders and they will then appear when you go back to mail.

You can also get to that screen from Settings and selecting the folders tab.

Re: Webmail shows only my POP3 Inbox but no other folders

Thanks for your interest jelv. I have already tried the Manage Folders option, but this does not show any of my storage folders, nor does it allow me to manage any folders in a second mailbox which uses the same account.

Re: Webmail shows only my POP3 Inbox but no other folders

Are the folders you are looking for ones that were created either using webmail or via IMAP in your mail client?

If they were not, but were created in your mail client using POP3, they exist on your local PC only and are not contributing to the total mailbox size as seen by Plusnet.

Re: Webmail shows only my POP3 Inbox but no other folders

Thank you, that explains why the folders created in POP3 are not showing in Webmail. I still can not get the folders in my 2nd mailbox to appear in Webmail. When I go to Settings then Identities both mailboxes show there. I have tried re setting the details of the 2nd one and highlighting it when I then go to folders I only get the folders from the 1st mailbox. Any ideas please?

Re: Webmail shows only my POP3 Inbox but no other folders

To access the second mailbox in webmail you need to enter the username as accountname+mailboxname and use the password for that mailbox. (If your Plusnet account is smith and the mailbox is john enter smith+john)

Re: Webmail shows only my POP3 Inbox but no other folders

Thanks jelv for trying to help. I seem to have a few more issues with webmail than I originally thought, so I think it best if I close this thread for now until I can identify exactly what the problems are. I will then open a new thread to seek solutions if necessary.
