Webmail page displaying weirdly

Has anybody ever had this with webmail? Sometimes on the inbox or message screen the page is totally scrambled with text overwritten. Here's a small sample of the top corner of what should be my inbox display. It does this on Firefox and Pale Moon (Windows XP 32-bit).

If I refresh once or twice it will go back to normal.

Looks like a javascript rendering issue. Do you have any plugins installed, and if so are you able to replicate the issue with them disabled?

I thought it might be Javascript. I tried updating Java but that didn't do any good. I do have some plugins installed but it's going to take some time to work out if any of them are causing this problem because it doesn't always happen.

I would point out that it does not do this on any other web page, only PN webmail.

Java is not the same thing as Javascript.

You could try running Firefox in safe mode for a while.
