Webmail Password Reset not working ?

I have a legacy madasafish/totalise email that ive been using since the 90s.

I use the Plusnet webmail client and I want to change the password on my account

I go to the madasafish link for password recovery and it appears to work, yet I never receive the password reset email .

Anyone have any suggestions on how to change your password if you are just a webmail customer ?

I have forgotten/need to reset the password to an ic24 (madasafish) webmail account. I have got nowhere trying to do this through my Plusnet account. You seem to have been able to help people with a similar problem.

I have a totalise.co.uk email address on Just Mail

In the last week or so my iPhone X has stopped picking up emails on the totalise email address, it can send, but not receive.  It works fine on wifi but not on Vodaphone 3G/4G.

It receives email on other email addresses whether on wifi or 3G/4G.  I am on pop3 settings that have worked for years and years

I think the problem you are experiencing is similar to that raised in topic https://community.plus.net/t5/Email/freenetname-no-send-receive-for-2-days/m-p/1511873#M22413 with the freenetname server. In your case the incoming mail server mail.totalise.co.uk is not reachable from outside the Plusnet network. tracert succeeds from my home connection but stops at colindale or faraday from outside.

As mentioned in the other thread, I suspect the traceroute observation is a red herring. This is from a Vodafone 4G connection:

Apologies for any forum etiquette faux paus as I am brand new to this.

I cannot raise a support ticket @bobpullen as I am in an endless loop of logging in to Madasafish and then clicking on raise a support ticket and being asked to login again.

Totalise email picks up on my iPhone X mail app when on wifi (Wifi with TalkTalk) but not when I leave the house and on 3/4G (Vodafone)

Was fine until this week.

Please can someone from @plusnet help?

It looks like it's something to do with the Vodaphone network, rather than specific to us.   Do we know if their dongles support pop3 access?

Someone from tech support reset it for me. The issue was that my secondary email in my account for the reset messages to go to was the same address (plus net).

Since then i use my other email address for password reset messages
