If I use the plain text option and press the return key (like so...)
the next line of text is tight up against the first as normal like in this paragraph.
If I use the HTML option and press return (like so...)
I get a large gap between the two lines of text like that (think this is called double spacing in word processing terms). Although it doesn't come out with any gap for whoever I send it to. Is that how it's designed to look? Is there any setting to change this? Just makes laying things out tricky if you forget that what looks like a gap to you actually isn't going to look like that for whoever reads it.

I don't know if there is a different reason for this, but if you use SHIFT+RETURN this will do a line break rather than a paragraph break.

Ah, ok. That seems to make it behave how I want.
Thanks.
Thanks.
