Using Plusnet Email System to Forward from Phaedrus Netiom

Hi,
I have a Phaedrus Netiom, basically it logs onto a mail server and sends out fault info.  As it's relatively old technology it can only send unencrypted Emails.
Can I connect to a  Plusnet mail server and send Emails unencrypted?

Assuming a low/moderate volume of messages and as long as you have a subscription (i.e. paid for) account then this should be fine. Our relay servers don't support TLS/SSL encryption yet anyway.
