Unable to send email from HTC Wildfire S

Hi
I have put the following into the mail settings
Protocol  POP
Email address    name@name.plus.com        as account
Username          POP3 login name
Password          Account password
POP Server      mail.plus.net
Security            None
Server Port        110
SMTP server    relay.plus.net
Security            None
Server Port      25
When I try to send email I get an Unable to send email notification, are these the correct settings ?
Thanks
Tony

Re: Unable to send email from HTC Wildfire S

Those settings should work at home when the Wildfire is wirelessly connected to your router. However for sending mail when connected via 3G outgoing authentication must also be set up.
However some mobile networks block access to external mail servers on port 25 in which case their own server has to be used.
