Hello,
I am running Windows 10 and have Microsoft mail Version 16005.14326.21806.0 running fine with my Plusnet mail account.
However I am now being prompted to "Try New Outlook" when I use Microsoft Mail. I have tried to setup New Outlook several times now using the IMAP option, but I cannot get it to work. Has anyone else managed to get New Outlook to work with a Plusnet mail account?
Is there are secret configuration that works?
Please advise.

settings peculiarities. Search this forum for relevant posts on this on how to do manually.

Similar to my settings in MS Office Outlook though I have port 25 for SMTP.

Some networks inhibit access to off network port 25 connections, thus a mobile client configured to use port 25 might not work in all situations
In another browser tab, login into the Plusnet user portal BEFORE clicking the fault & ticket links
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

@Townman you are correct about port 25, I suspect my configuration is just "historical" and as I never, ever send emails through PlusNet (only receive) it's not been flagged up. 😎
