Unable to create first email address

Evening all,
Previous user of PN, now returning after a stint with cable.
My account has been activated today but I am unable to log in to Manage my Mail in order to create my first email address.  It simply states that either the feature is not available with this account (PN Extra) or if I am new wait until 30 minutes after my account is created (which it has been - 4 hours to be precise).  Am I being stupid and doing something wrong?
Appreciate your help.

Try sending yourself an email to the default mail address you had set up - sometimes the mail component doesn't create the mailbox correctly until an email has been received.

Hi,
Will the default email address be postmaster@<username>.plus.com? I didnt set up an email address on sign up as I am using my own domain address.

Unfortunately there was a problem which meant your account wasn't allowing mailboxes to be added to it. I've fixed that now but it's going to take 6-8 hours before they are usable as DNS needs to be created for them and they need to be added to our mail system.

Hi Chris,
Many thanks.  I now get a different error page - ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.  I shall give it a while longer to see what happens.

Send an email to the address and then give it another go Dave.
