Totalise all emails disappeared

I have an old madasfish email account . All my old emails recently disappeared. I guess they have been archived but I didn't receive any email notification of this

They contain some important order and invoiving information.

Can they be restored?

Don't you keep back ups?
If you used POP3 protocol, e mails would be stored on your own
PC, and are easily backed up to a usb drive.

Nothing like this happened in past 20 years - is it really worth the effort?

Thanks for getting in touch.

I've checked your account and there are no notifications or tickets to indicate that your emails have been archived.

Could I double-check whether you're viewing your emails via the webmail facility or an email client? Have any emails in sub-folders/deleted items survived etc?
