'Temporary Failure' response from relay.plus.net server

Trying to reply to an email this evening and all I'm getting is the "Unable to send - 'Temporary Failure' response from the server" message.  All settings look OK to me.  I note the earlier email problems are reported to be solved: I beg to differ!

What earlier email problems? The last ones I can see were the end of June?
